Cause it doesn't matter rly... pve or pvp, what do you get out of it? You still need to get it the same way.
Excuse me while i go tag my drake hatchlings.

I'm pretty sure my r3 gamer was played vs other players, aka PvP...
I don't understand ANet's thought process sometimes.

Gamer must be a PvP title. Anet should fix blatant mistakes like this first before the final release of HoM.

Don't really understand why it isn't one. Seeing as it only involves PvP.
Also don't understand why people don't want it to be one.

Gamer title is just as hard to get as the lucky/unlucky titles are if you're worried about there not being a year round way of attaining points. There's alternate ways to gain lucky/unlucky, sure, but isn't the most popular (easiest) way to do the rings?
I really hope ANet is listening to our suggestions for HoM tweaks. There's a lot of title categorization that just don't make sense.

Agreed. I can't help but think that people are coming up with excuses because frankly, the festival PvP games are easy and they don't like that. They feel like their hardcore PvP is more PvP worthy than measly festival games. Which makes no sense to me. Just what I get out of it, though.

That one should not count.
That one being added doesn't make it fair.
99.9 repeating decimal % of the players with that title made it by /roll and/or RR.
It's awful when the innocent pay for the sins of the sinner, but in this case, there are way to many sinners.
That title should have been wiped.

It can only be obtain via PvP.

You want a title, you play to get it. Except Christmas where a lot of people are with their families instead of in front of their computers, all other events don't occur when many people are going to be away. Plus they are available before and after the event.
But adding those arenas full time will be somewhat nice (but I fear that given so many choices there will be less teams. At least with the current system, a lot of people are eager to go play a festival arena).

/signed most people atm are earning points for this in costume brawl and thats just like ra but it's more based off skill than people having random builds. everyone has the same builds so it's how you play your builds and tactis not what builds you have

Aye!
Gamer title is a pure PvP, additionally you also get FB in certain modes, so it's obvious it should count.

Makes no sense that a title which you can get only by pvp is not a pvp title. And Rollerbeetle racing is pvp according to the terms meaning Player versus Player, it's certainly not Player vs Environment. It's all the same what people think is "real" pvp.

The festival title thingy, should be PvP IMO. And so should Zaishen, because gaining Zaishen requires either PvP or loads of money. The way they ment it to be made was to PvP. This is obvious, you gain the points to GAIN THE KEYS thought PVP ONLY. If people could not sell the Zaishen Key, would it then be considered PvP title to you people ? ;p
But why don't they make Luxon/Kurzick title PvP aswell, it can be done with farming luxon/kurzick continents or PvP(Alliance Battle, thought alliance battle IMO is not real PvP because it does not require you to kill any oposit player to win.) I don't get this? D:

No, because of Zaishen Elite. If you removed that and retroactively all the points that were gotten from anything but PvP, then it would be considered a PvP title. Naturally, the amount of rage that would stir up isn't worth it, so the Zaishen title should be treated as a PvE title.

It should definitely be counted, but I have a feeling most people have the PVP cred some other way and Anet won't notice those that are getting royally screwed on this one. :/

Gamer should be counted, even only rank 1.
As someone who recently started a few months ago, just realized how tedious doing RA over and over would be for Glad title.
Costume Brawl is more fun because it doesn't require any skill capture and preparation.
Just make it easy to get that PvP title. I think r1 gamer would be more than enough here. I've been running Brawl since it started last week and only at 700 points (tons of losses 'cause of random teams, which is expected).
I can't imagine a casual or average gamer getting to even r1 before the end of halloween, and also can't expect him to plan his days on Wintersday, New Year or other events to reach an ungodly amount of points for something higher than rank 1.

It's pretty obvious that gamer should be a pvp title since it can only be acquired through means of pvp.
I don't really care if zaishen becomes pvp or pve, since it can be obtained both ways.

Definately not r1. It took me something like two and a half years at RA to get g3 (no I don't play monk, no I don't sync, no I didn't play TA spike nonsense, yes I'm probably a casual player).
This week I did 2000 gamer points in CB, so it's easy enough to get r3 as it is.
